AM6548: XAM6546ACDXEAF M4

Part Number: AM6548

HI all,

I am seeing higher voltage 3.3V at CAP_VDDSHV_SDLDO instead of 1.8V.

Any solution or idea to control these voltage

part used :XAM6546ACDXEAF M4

  • CAP_VDDSHV_SDIO is an output from SDIO_LDO and provides power to the AM6548 IOs associated with an UHS-I SD Card. The IO voltage of UHS-I SD Cards default to 3.3V to support legacy systems that only operate at 3.3V. This requires the SDIO_LDO output to also defaults to 3.3V.  The IO voltage of the SD Card and AM6548 will switch from 3.3V to 1.8V after the MMCSD host controller determines the attached SD Card supports faster data transfer modes, which require the IOs to operate at 1.8V. There is an internal signal coming from the MMCSD host controller to SDIO_LDO that determines the voltage sourced by CAP_VDDSHV_SDIO. The state of the MCU_BOOTMODE[09] input determines if SDIO_LDO is controlled by the MMCSD0 or MMCSD1 host controller.
