PROCESSOR-SDK-J721E: mcusw EB Tresos plugins

Hello,

I have downloaded this sdk : ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-09_00_00_02

And I want to try the MCAL drivers, which I found in the mcusw folder. You have an example, and that's fine. Now what if I want to create my own configuration ?

I have requested, and obtained, EB tresos configurator and a license. Now I'm missing the plugins that will allow me to configure the MCAL. They are not included in the sdk even though the dcoumentation says they should be in there.

Is there another sdk that I should download ?

Hello,

The plugins will not be part of SDK, you need to get access approved for MCAL configurator package.

We have an FAQ created for this, kindly request to look into this.

Hello,

I have to say it is unclear from the documentation or the FAQ.

In summary, there are 2 packages to request access to:

PROCESSOR-SDK-MCAL-EB-TRESOS : will give access to an installer for the config tool (EB Tresos) and its license manager, and will provide a license
PSDK-RTOS-AUTO : you get an addon ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-09_00_00_02-addon-windows-installer, which is not really useful for the question here, but if you go to the bottom of the list of downloadable things you can download MCUSW_09_00_00_10_CONFIG-windows-installer. This is where the plugins are located

NB: I didn't find a clever way to tell EB tresos where to find said plugins. I had to copy/paste them into the tresos/plugins folder. Is that right ?
