Hi,

Q1.
Please provide information on lens sizes that can be driven by ULC. We are currently considering implementing ULC on the outside of the image sensor, which is approximately 30mm x 30mm.

Q2.
Could you please provide information such as the size/weight that can remove dust? We are interested in whether ULC can be used to remove fine dust. We are considering a high-spec sensor, and we are wondering if it can remove dust as small as 10 microns.

    Hi Conor,

    1. The maximum diameter of a circular lens cover is 40mm. We currently do not have any testing or prototypes of a rectangular or square lens cover system but this should be possible with ULC1001. 

    2. We do not have this information. Our LCS is a prototype used to evaluate the technology and not meant for production. The contaminants that can be removed by ULC1001 are highly dependent on the mechanical structure of the LCS, so a customer will need to keep this in mind while designing their lens cover.
