Hi,
There is no timing requirements for MMC1/MMC2 USH-I SDR50 SDR104 receive mode in datasheet (SPRSP58B).
My customer is asking for these data.
Thanks and regards,
Koichiro Tashiro
Hi Paul,
Thanks for your reply.
These data transfer modes require data training to center data capture in the center of the data valid window, so the timing requirements are not fixed to specific values.
Do you mean AC timing is optimized by software tuning, so there should be no issue for customers, correct?
My customer checked TRM and found below description in section 12.4.5.5.2.3.1, but the link to "MMC SW Tuning Algorithm" is missing.
Could you send me the correct link or documents for it?
Thanks and regards,
Koichiro Tashiro
Our software packages should already include the tuning function, so I'm not sure why the customer needs to worry with these details. However, the TRM link needs to be fixed. I assigned this thread to one of the TRM owners, so he knows there is a problem with the link. I also asked him to reply to this thread and provide a link to the application note.
We will need to assign this thread to someone from the software team if you have any questions related to the SW tuning implementation.
Regards,
Paul
The link should be pointing to: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/spract9/spract9.pdf
I will fis the broken link for the next release.
Regards,
Adrian.
