Hi Baocheng
Can you clarify what Low power modes you are talking about and what you are the use-case power goals.
I am not aware of any LPM modes on AM65x and nothing specifically available in software for that either. I think there maybe some CPUFREQ support etc ,but not aware of anything else.
Do note that the SDK was refreshed to bring support for latest kernel (6.1) and some bug fixes , but beyond that no new features and development planned on AM65x family.
So if you do not see it in the software documentation then no features exist on this front and none planned.
Regards
Mukul
Hi Mukul,
There is a chapter in the TRM targeting the LPM in TRM in https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/spruid7, chapter 5.2.3.1 "Overview of Device Low-Power Modes". IIUC, am6548 should support at least the MCU-only mode, see 5.2.3.1.1.
Our use case is energy saving, we want the device to go suspend or sleep and wake up after a certain time period, or at a specific time, something like the linux rtcwake: man7.org/.../rtcwake.8.htmlhttps://man7.org/linux/man-pages/man8/rtcwake.8.html.

Hi Boacheng
Sorry for the late reply
thanks for clarifying this. I checked with the SDK team and on AM65 we do not have support for any LPM modes and we are not planning to add any additional features to AM65 SDK. It is strictly in bug fix/maintenance mode.
