Hi, I used pre-build images of Gingerbread 2.3.4 (Dev kit 2.1) for my Beagleboard-xM (Rev. C).
During system use I have experienced many "cursor freezing", application not responding and generally system runs slowly so
I am wondering if this behaviour is quite common using this release or if it can depend on my hardware or if, building an OS image
from source code there is some option to "improve" performances.
My system startup log follows.

Hi,
We observed that system performance is poor with some SD cards.
Please see below link for SD card recommendations.
Regards,
Pankaj Bharadiya
Thanks for the reply.
I use a 4 Gb Sony microSDHC card class 4 that is reported as a good performance card.
Often it seems that the system "is doing something else" as the slowdown is not continuous so I am wondering if there is a possible problem on my hardware configuration (or prebuild image) or if all these issues (mouse freezing, not responding applications etc.) are already known and common.
Best regards,
Alessandro Tata
