AM3352: RFID read problem

Part Number: AM3352

Hi sir,

We  are using a custom board with AM3352  and we have a HF RFID Desktop USB Reader (RRHFOEM07) from RapidRadioSolutions and when it connects , it connects as hid-generic. How to communicate or read from rfid by hid-generic connection. And its in the /dev/bus/usb/001 directory.

How to read and write to that module from the custom board. Here is the image when this rfid reader connects.

how can read or write to this device. If you know please help.

  • Hi Eldhose,

The kernel log shows the RFID USB device is enumerated by the AM3352 USB controller. I guess you would need another kernel driver top of the USB stack to operate the RFID device. However this RFID USB device is not a TI product. It is out of the support scope on this forums. Please contact the device vendor or Linux community for support.
