AMIC110: Is there any concern if SYSBOOT pins are connected with power or GND without resister ?

Part Number: AMIC110

Hi,

My customer is now developing their board with AMIC110.

Is there any concern if SYSBOOT pins are connected to the power or GND directly ? Pull-up or Pull-down with out resister.

They don't use these pins after boot up.

Regards,

Hideaki

  • This should not be a concern, but the customer would have to ensure they don't use any of these signals as GPIOs, or they could cause a short.  After boot, I would disable the input buffer for each of these signals using the associated pinmux registers.  And the software should ensure the mux mode for these pins are set to GPIO, and ensure the outputs are disabled and never driven.
