My company is an automotive SW company based out of India. We focus on Infotainment Systems, EMobility and TCUs. We have successfully completed multiple production programs for EU, NA and India OEMs.

Our customer is considering TI AM62P54 SoC for developing a Display Audio system. We are planning to respond to this query. We appreciate if we get more information/documentation about the SoC and SDK and also have a short call with our technical team.

Hi Rejeesh,

Here are few documents to begin with, with regards to Display and Audio subsystem, we have triple display support (OLDI/DSI/DPI) on AM62P and have 3 McASPs for audio functionality. More information can be found in the Datasheet and Technical Reference Manual. We can definitely setup a call to walk you through the overview of AM62P and how Linux/RTOS/Android could be verified on this particular SoC once you have reviewed these information.

Rejeesh,

Could you elaborate more on the requirements for which you are planning to use AM62P.

Carplay Communications are you planning to use Android? If yes, then on AM62P we do have Android 14 supported.

It is a Linux based DA system (not Android) and we wanted to understand the SDK support/detailed documentation for Android Auto, Carplay and Weblink

Only Android AOSP (Android 14) is supported on AM62P.
