Hi TI Experts,
Based on the below thread, customer now could link up & ping on their own AM62x board using RMII.
However, customer found the Iperf 3 speed is quite slow than the expected 100MHz shown below.
I searched some previous E2E threads, and I am thinking maybe we need two check the below two registers.
The Synce_Sel Clocking for CPSW_SS_SYNCE_MUX_REG
The Speed & Auto_Speed_En for CPSW_PN_SPEED_REG_k
However, I could only find the register description in the AM64x TRM, but could not find it on AM62x TRM.
May I know the register & register address for CPSW_SS_SYNCE_MUX_REG & CPSW_PN_SPEED_REG_k is the same in AM62x?
Apart from this, do you have any other suggestions to improve the low speed in RMII situation?
Many Thanks,
Kevin
Hi,
I am currently out of the office.
I would recommend focusing on the network topology and link partner that is running the iperf server. Is the link partner on the same subnet?
Since this is a new board I would recommend confirming basic ethernet traffic using the procedures described in this document.
