Hi,

For IPC Communication between A53 and R5F00,

4276.rpmsg_char_simple.c downloaded and built in Linux PC and flashed in AM64x Eval board on A53 TI RT-Linux 9 SDK.

I wanted to know in R5F00 core,

what code need to run from MCU+SDK 9 (BareMetal/Free RTOS) code to communicate with A53 RT-Linux?

mention which R5F example?

Hello Ravindar,

Please use Linux kernel 6.6 or 6.12

Please keep in mind that the mailbox patches that enable more deterministic performance were not added until ti-linux-kernel-6.6 or later (SDK 10.0), as per SK-AM64B: RPmsg between A53 and R5 performance update

So RT-Linux SDK 9 is expected to have much worse latency performance.

What example are you trying to run?

If you just want to test RPMsg communication, please use the new rpmsg_char_benchmark example here:

That Linux userspace code is compatible with the MCU+ SDK example ipc_rpmsg_echo_linux.
