wake up DSP from U-BOOT in c6a8168

hi everyone!

we are  working with spectrum digital c6816x/dm816x/am389x development board. Is it possible to wake-up DSP from U-BOOT? we have tried developing applications using C6RUN from ARM side, but its not what our application needs.

ours is an industrial application in which ARM is to  have user interface and the DSP has to execute  real time tasks, in the meanwhile, the DSP and ARM can seamlessly communicate with each other. For the above  purpose, is it possible to have DSP boot up immediately after U-BOOT, so that the time critical applications can be loaded immediately? what can be the possible course of action for implementing it?

following is the list of the things we currently have:

-spectrum digital c6816x/am389x/dm816x evelauation module with expansion daughter card

-ti-ezsdk_dm816x-evm-5_01_01_80

-CCS 5.1

-XDS100v2 emulator

Any help will be appreciated.
