The first place you start is where the highlighted TMS320C6416 leads you, the product information page. Then you read through the data sheet on the chip and the user manual. Also go over the getting started manual for the kit.
There are tutorials available on the web and from TI that will prepare you for the work you will have to do. The kit shows that it comes v3.3, You will have to upgrade to v5. http://www.ti.com/tool/tmdsdsk6416
Your other resource is the TI Wiki. There you can find information about both the C6416 and code composer.
The are several dozen application notes and users guides for this device. They can also be found on the product page. Remember to search the TI community first for information on your topic to see how others have gone about resolving problems.
Thanks,
Thanks a lot Greenja.
Please can you give me a link that tells how to upgrade ccsv3 to ccsv5. I have ccsv5 already installed on win7 64bit. Where will I found the driver for my kit. I am new to this forum.
Again thanks a lot for answering my question.
