I have a board that is using a 8148 connected with the McASP2 to a AIC3014. We changed the MCLK from 24.576MHz to 12.288MHz, I also changed the in the davinci-evm.c evm_hw_param() so the sysclk returned is now 1288000. (instead of 24576000). This seemed correct. However now that I play audio it sounds double speed, if I set the rate in alsa from 8000 to 4000 (8000 is the sample rate of my audio file), it sounds correct. If I change the sysclk back to 24576000 and play audio it sounds correct.
I'm pretty much using the McASP2 setup stock from the EVM setup for the codec.
Seems the correct setting for sysclk should be 12288000 if I use a 12.288MHz clock to MCLK. Can anyone help.
Thanks,
Craig
