DM8148 HDMI out 1280 x 1024p@60fps

Hello TI' teams,

please let me known if this display resolution 1280x1024p 60 fps (VESA DMT), supported by DM8148 HDVPSS and HDMI software driver on HDMI display output?

Corresponds to TRM this resolution supported by hardware, but what about resolutions support in software drivers, in latest version of dvr-rdk?

Hi Pavel,
please let me known - what is differences between TI81xx_MODE_HDMI and TI81xx_MODE_DVI into "drivers/video/ti81xx/vpss/sysfs.h"?

DM814x HDMI is DVI 1.0 compliant (only RGB pixel format).

DVI is a sub-set of HDMI that does not include audio, info-frames and only supports RGB. Setting to DVI mode disables all HDMI features from the TMDS stream.

Looks HDMI driver doesn't support SXGA resolution, only 1080p, 1080i and 720p.

You can use SXGA for HDMI video only, no HDMI audio is available.

SXGA is VESA standard, expected to be used for DVI interface only. DVI interface will not support audio.
