AM335x/TLK110 PHY to Carambola-2 PHY interface

Hi All,

We have Carambola-2 module, which has Artheros AR9331 SoC. This SoC has embedded PHY. We are going to make AM335x based custom board. We are planning to use TLK110 PHY with MII interface at our Custom board.

Carambola-2 board and our custom board will communicate through MDI interface without magnetic at both board. For details please find attached block diagram.

We have never done PHY-PHY  interface. Please suggest us ,whether this interface is possible or not. Is any PHY critical parameter ,which need to consider? since we are flexible to select any of PHY at our custom board.PHY-PHY INTERFACE_TLK110.pdf
