How to use SPI slave bootloader in TMS320C672x?

Hi, By SPRAA69D there have several boot modes for TMS320C672x. But on SPRZ232F, it mentes out that I2C mode is not always function correctly and SPI master boot mode is not recommended too. So, the boot mode is just of HPI, Parallel Flash and SPI Salve. I use TMS320C6720 as development evaluation, the possible boot mode is Parallel Flash and SPI Slave.

Now, LM3S8962 is used as host to boot TMS320C6720 on SPI Slave mode. PLL of LM3S8962 is 50 MHz, and out clock for TMS320C6720 is 20 MHz. The SPI protocol is Phase 0 with Polarity 1, bit rate is 1 Mhz , wordwidth is 16 bits. At end I can not get correct result.

Does the settinges I used to SPI slave boot TMS320C6720 is right? How to do I can get good SPI slave boot on TMS320C6720?

Any kind advice is in highly appreciated!

    Kim,

    Are you able to confirm that the LMS8962 is able to communicate with the C672x board during normal (non-boot) SPI operation?  I just want to make sure that this isn't a SPI interface issue.
