The \RESET input (G3) in the OMAPL137 does not contain an internal pull-down or pull-up. The eval schematic for the omapl137 contains a 10k ohm pull-up (page 10, http://support.spectrumdigital.com/boards/evmomapl137/revd/files/EVMOMAPL137_Schematics_RevD.pdf
My question is, would you recommend adding a 10k ohm pull-up resistor (R4) if I have the \RESET input configured as depicted in the attachment? The OMAPL137 IC uses the same +3.3V as the AND gate for power in my board. (Please disregard the unconnected pins in the attachment)
As both R4 and the gate are connected to the same supply rail, R4 would only be necessary if the gate output was an open-drain type rather than push-pull.
However, it's often useful to have flexible build options like that non-fitted resistor when debugging a prototype.
