  • Hi Madhu,

I've forwarded your query to the software team. Their feedback should be posted here.

  • Hi Madhu,

This was reported and an error in earlier versions of the IBIS checker for ver5 but later versions removed this check. It was reported as follows on the IBIS forums.

"It is not critical for EDA tools to use these data if given enough points for interpolation. There are few simulators that support this feature now (currently they remove these errors in the parser messages).

These error messages should be downgraded to NOTE."

Subsequently, this was changed to a Note in the v5.0.7 of the IBISCHK and removed completely from the v5.1.4 of IBISCHK that we used to check the model. Is your version of hyperlynx using the latest version of the IBIS specification?  You should check with your hyperlynx representative to see why it is reporting this as an error.

    Regards,

    Bill
