I need some advice on the TMX320DM365 evaluation board as I used it many years ago but need a quick answer now whether it is possible to use the input video as NTSC at 60Hz and convert it to the output of PAL-I at 50Hz? Being a bit rusted I am not sure if the video processing back-end can generate its own sync pulse or does it need the sync from the VPFE? My assumption is that one can grab an incoming frame and pass it through the video buffer and clock it out but I am not sure where the VPBE will get the sync from and if it can generate it by itself? Please let me know if this is possible.
