TMS320C6414: Upgradation of temp range

Dear Team,

The query is, we are using TMS32C6414EGLZA6E3 in one of my major project and as per datasheet the peak reflow temperature is 220 degree, for our PCBA manufacturing, we need to go up to 235 degree Celsius minimum, please let us know can we raise the temperature to that extent, will the component integrity remains the same, if we use higher temperature.

    Hi,

    No, if the package information (PACKAGING INFORMATION from datasheet) states that the peak reflow temperature is 220 degrees Celsius, you should not go beyond that. It cannot be guaranteed that there won't be any damages on the SoC.
