Dear Champs,

In below application notes, we implemented to connect Digital MiCs to I2S port of C5515 directly.

Like this, is it possible to connect Digital MiCs to McASP ports of C6746 directly?

My customer is willing to develop AI speaker using C6746 and wants to know if Digital MiCs can be connected to McASP directly without any converter.

    Hi SI.,

    The McASP on C6746 can also input digital mic data directly and perform the processing in software similarly to the appnote you referenced.
    Just ensure the microphone satisfies the McASP Timing Requirements from the datasheet.
    Software is not easily ported from C55xx to C6746, however. But the software and documentation is available to study and replicate on C6746.
