DRA71XEVM: DRA71x EVM problem

Part Number: DRA71XEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRA718, LP873220

hi  Team:

1. Do DSP and ARM use different DDRS to improve performance?Or can it be Shared?

2. DRA718  recommended PMIC is TPS65919? What is the timing of power supply?

3. if I want to use AEC-Q100 phy, Which PN do you recommend?

4. Can DRA718 power consumption assessment form be provided?

5. in the EVM,use  LP873220 power for  DDR3L, When the power is on, ARM does not work, U42 how to ensure the output is 1.35v?

  • 1. There is a single x32 bit interface to DDR that is shared between DSP and ARM.

    2. The power supply ramp up and down sequences are shown in the DRA71x Data Manual section titled "Power Supply Sequences"

    3. What do you mean by PHY?  Do you mean for ethernet?

    4. Please contact your local TI representative for power consumption estimates.

    5. In general the DDR supply will ramp up along with the SoC power supplies and should stabilize before reset is released to the SoC.
