TMDSICE3359: EtherNet/IP PTP and switch issue

Hello,

it seems there is an issue with PTP and the switch in our device:

DLR active
PTP active
Ethernet/IP communication active
after some time the switch stops working and switches all telegrams from port 1 to port 2
it seems it's forgetting its MAC address
generated telegrams won't leave the device
Ethernet/IP communication stops working
after few seconds one PTP-telegram leaves the device and the switch is switching properly again. Telegrams can be received and sent

I have a trace of this behaviour, but I'm not allowed to post it in public
What is the easiest way to deactivate PTP completely? No tasks, no side effects for the switch, etc

Stefan,

You can send me the trace via private message from the e2e.

You can deactivate the ptp via TimeSync_drvDisable(timeSyncHandle), please refer to TimeSync_reset() function.

Stefan,

Can you please draw a diagram to show the connection topology? Is 10.89.218.114 the Sitara EIP adapter, 10.89.218.43 the controller, 224.0.1.129 the PTP master (separate from the controller?)? What are the 10.89.218.201 and 10.89.218.194?
