CCS/LINUXEZSDK-DAVINCI: H264 encoding failure at low temperature

Our company has been using TMS320DM6446BZWTA for 10 years. With the latest batch of processor, we start experience many H264 encoding failure at -15C. MPEG4 encoding has no issue.

    We will route this to our quality team. We have limited ability to support technical questions on these devices, but if you are seeing quality issues - we will get you the guidance on the next steps. 

    Before we do that  

    Can you give us some background on this. You said that for 10 yrs you have no issues 

    1) Has there been any change in the hardware or the BOM?

    2) Any changes in software?

    3) Any changes in the way you test this product - I assume you always did cold temperature testing , so not a coverage issue?

    4) Have you done any ABA swaps to ensure that failure follows the device and not the board? 

    5) Can you also clarify the failure rate - how many units failing , number of units and % etc.
