AM4377: PRU-ICSS MII configuration

Hi,

SDK: PRU-ICSS-HSR-PRP-DAN-01.00.05.01-Linux-x86-Install.bin

Customer connect RTL8201F with PRU1 MII in his customize board and he want to add HSR to the system.

1.He need to change pinmux configuration because pins which he selected are different from demo board. Could you please point the corresponding files?

2.He need RTL8201F driver which supported by MII interface in am437x. Should he contact the phy vendor?

Hi Nancy,

2. The PHY vendor can help him solve issues if any, but I don't think they would have the PHY driver for the application, and he need develop his own driver.

Nancy,

The customer need update the board_phy.c at PRU-ICSS-HSR-PRP-DAN_01.00.05.01\examples\board\idkAM437x if PHY reset signal is different.

Also, can refer to board_tlkx.c at PRU-ICSS-HSR-PRP-DAN_01.00.05.01\examples\board\common if any specific setting need to be done for the PHY.
