TMDXICE110: JTAG Emulator Required?

Hi,

You can probably configure the AMIC110 for UART boot mode, then download the UART SBL via XMODEM, and then finally download your app via XMODEM.

I more convenient way to get the software to the board is to use JTAG.

I'm using an XDS2xx USB debug probe connected to AMIC110, J1.

In CCS, create a new target connection:

• View -> Target Configurations
• Right-click in Target Configurations window, select New Target Configuration
• Name configuration
• Select Connection type (e.g. Texas Instruments XDS2xx USB Debug Probe)
• For Board or Device, pick ICE_AMIC110
• Click Save

To connect, right-click on newly created .ccxml

• Select Launch Select Configuration
• Click on CortexA8
• Run -> Connect Target

You can now load your program with Run -> Load -> Load Program
