Hi,
We are using two no. of TMS320C6455 DSPs in our board.
We have provided one 14-pin JTAG connector for DSP JTAG connectivity and 2 DSP are daisy chained.
I have attached the connection diagram of the DSP JTAG chain in our board.
We have read various document from TI on the JTAG connectivity of the DSP. But not very clear on how to daisy chain multiple DSPs
Below are my queries.
Please provide your feedback.
Regards,
Amit K Bhat.
Hello Amith,
The JTAG connection on multiple devices is clearly explained in the below wiki link. This also includes what are all the signals need to be buffered.

Hello Senthil,
Thank you for your reference document.
I have one query,
We have routed EMU0/1 is daisy chain manner. I have done the SI for these two signals.
Signal quality is good with DSP1 output at JTAG connector.
But signal has ringing with DSP2 output at JTAG connector.
Can you please suggest, whether we need to implement daisy chain topology or tree topology for EMU0/1 signals?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Amit
