Dear Support,

I have been looking for TI RTOS examples for AM3359 with IAR EWARM.

Can you please provide the link for the same.

I downloaded the below link and installed but I couldn’t get the required IAR EWARM projects.

Else is there any steps to create TI RTOS projects for AM3359 with IAR EWARM.

Zuhair,

I'm unaware of any instructions that allows you to create TI RTOS projects with IAR. I'm checking with colleagues and will post back if I have new details. The instructions are geared toward CCS.

Can you please let me know where i can get AM3359 examples with TI RTOS using IAR EWARM?

From the link of TI I saw that “All current protocols for AM335x and AM437x will be supported on PRU-ICSS-INDUSTRIAL-SW by the end of June 2017 “

TI will no longer provide support for SYSBIOSSDK-IND-AM335x and SYSBIOSSDK-IND-SITARA after 30 June 2017. Please contact your TI representative or indsdksupport@list.ti.com if you are interested in receiving maintenance releases and technical support for either of these SDKs after these dates.

Thanks for the information.

I can see all the packages has been developed with CCS. Do you have any examples of AM3359 with TI RTOS using IAR EWARM.

If not do you have any timeline when it will be implemented with IAR EWARM.

To start the user with TI RTOS for AM3359 with IAR EWARM ,do you have any PDF or guide to follow?

I am sorry there are no IAR based examples. There is not any published material on creating TI RTOS projects for AM3359 with IAR EWARM.

Although IAR EWARM IDE is supported on some TI devices - there will not be near term support for IAR EWARM IDE based examples on the AM335x family of devices.

I will forward your request for IAR EWARM IDE examples for the AM335x family to our marketing and development teams. Our marketing team continually tracks customer inputs and works with our business managers to identify and prioritize future development efforts. In addition, our TI customer representatives work closely with our marketing team to identify customer support needs and development priorities. You may wish to also contact your TI representative and discuss your requirements with them. Your TI representative will be able to discuss product and development plans with you.

In general, software tool evaluation, planning and development is a lengthy process.

If wish to initiate development in the near future with the AM335x family using the TI Real Time Operating System (TIRTOS)- please consider using Code Composer Studio tool set and The TI Processor SDK.

The TI Code Composer Studio is a rich full featured development environment with good training materials and support. An excellent place to get an overview of this tool is at www.ti.com/.../CCSTUDIO .

The Texas Instruments Processor Software Development Kit (Processor-SDK) is a single scalable software platform that offers streamlined development across different TI Sitara/DSP Processors. The Processor-SDK for RTOS provides fundamental platform software and tools for development, deployment and execution of RTOS-based applications.
