Now, we plan to use TMS320C6743 in the second edition.

What should we pay attention to?

could you please clarify if the part number is C6742 or C6743 as the even and odd numbering refers 2 different set of devices. C6743 is more suitable for audio applications due to larger number of McASP(audio peripheral) instances/serializer pins.

Could you specify what kind of end application are you designing. The top considerations from software and hardware design are described here:

The part number in those links are OMAPL137 which is the ARM + DSP superset version of the device you are designing with but all those details applies to C674x except for the ARM/Linux portions.

Also, we have recently updated the software offering and added this device to our latest software baseline called Processor SDK RTOS.

Can you elaborate what kind of Audio functions are provided in an Audio arithmetic library. We may be referring to this software by a different name so we can provide you details of DSP libraries or third party libraries that meet your requirement.

Actually, TMS320C6743 is what we plan to use. But,When I wrote headline, I could't choose TMS320C6743 in the C674X forum.

Our project is design for Microphone,Amplify one person's voice and filter out the noise。
