hello everyone, our company is using dm365 for DVS, now we want to use tvp5158 for 4 ch video input , anyone who can tell me how to get tvp5158 driver files for linux? thanks!

You can buy UDworks DVR reference design based on tvp5158 and MCVIP stack. But source code very bloated and is difficult to improve. Original resolution is limited to width 704 and 352. Most of the driver is implemented in user space. A lot of kernel mode - user mode ping-pong. I fixed some bugs related to changing resolutions and memory management. If you are satisfied with UDworks DVR you can use it. For our project I am developing more durable and flexible proprietary driver for tvp5158. I can share some knowledge.

I'll be needing this driver when we get our next board built. We bought the UDworks refence design, but other than checking out the code for that driver I haven't done anything with it. Any shared info would be appreciated.

I think the attached files are for older DVSDK release. You need to make modifications in EDMA implementation and also I2C routines to use this driver.

Not sure if all of you have seen the below announcement on the E2E forum. We already have the drivers for TVP5158 working with DVSDK 3.x. You can use it for your development and reference
