The TMS320C6657 DSP core CVDD Power Supply was designed using the LM10011 to interface the VCNTL pins with LM21215 buck dc-dc converter.

My coustomer do not want the LM10011 and LM21215. Because it is not an EP(Enhanced Product) product.

so i have two questions.

Q1 : Is there an EP(Enhanced Product) series part related to VCNTL?

Q2 : Can i desing without using VCNTL? Is it possible to design only a regulator(Enhanced Product)?

    Ryu yeong yeol,

    Smart Reflex use is required with the C6657.  I am not aware of a direct replacement for the LM10011 that has the qualifications that you request.  The UCD92xx family of digital controllers can also latch the VCNTL code for SR control but I do not know if they have the qualifications you want.  Of course, the LM10011 is a single-chip implementation of the latching logic and a DAC that could be implemented in separate pieces.  The latching logic could be implemented in a PLD or microcontroller or discrete logic.
