AM4376: Sysboot issue

We have our custom hardware configured as highlighted. What we have found is syssboot11 pin needs to be pulled low for the NAND boot to work. UART boot is not effected by bit 11. Can you comment on this observation. Is there a documentation error? if sysboot11 is high, am4376 foes not boot from NAND.

Hi Burak, this is an interesting observation. SYSBOOT[11] should not be necessary for NAND boot, as it is only used for NOR boot to choose between non-muxed and muxed addr/data bus.

After the boot fails, can you break in with JTAG and provide the contents of CONTROL_STATUS register 0x44E10040, and all GPMC registers 0x50000000-0x50000084? Also, are you attempting to use NAND_I2C or NAND boot?

We are using either Uart or the NAND boot. Nand_i2c is unused.

I do not have a jtag probe running at this time, is there another option to get the info?

Give me a couple of days to look into it. Will you be able to get jtag working anytime soon? Or is that not designed into the board?

We had issues running the CC and tds200, its going to take a day or so of troubleshooting, which i do not have resources for. I can certainly wait few days for you to look into it as I have a workaround for now. Thank you!

Hi Burak, i looked into this a little more and it looks to be an error in our documentation. Both SYSBOOT11 and SYSBOOT10 need to be low for NAND boot. Table 9-32 in the TRM shows that the bit field MUXADDDATA needs to be 0 for NAND mode. We will get this fixed in the next release of the TRM.
Just curious, do you have SYSBOOT10 grounded on your board?

we have changed both sysboot 10 and 11 to pulled low, on this board.
