TMS320C6678: IPC

I'm unable to find the origin of these IPC demos. I suspect they are from an older legacy software package.

If possible, we recommend customers begin development with Processor SDK RTOS. This is the current supported software offering and comes bundled with IPC examples as well. 

There are various reasons why ipc_start could be hanging; cache settings, ipc config settings, no SharedRegion 0 is configured, etc. If you can share snippets of the IPC code in the .cfg file, and any other IPC related code, I can take a closer look. I don't spot anything wrong with the configuration. 

Since this is a single-image application and "MultiProc.setConfig" is set to "null," please ensure MultiProc_setLocalId is being called in the application. 

Can you also try adding the following?

Ipc.sr0MemorySetup = true;

If you know which cores will be loaded at build-time, can you try hardcoding the MultiProc nameList like below?

var nameList = ["HOST", "CORE0", "CORE1", "CORE2", "CORE3", "CORE4", "CORE5", "CORE6", "CORE7"];

If you send me the project I can try reproducing this on my EVM as well.
