AM6526: Crystal oscillator

Hi,

AM65xx has internal oscillator, but the customer wants to use crystal oscillator externally, not crystal unit. Can they use crystal oscillator connecting to OSC1_XI, WKUP_OSC0_XI and WKUP_LFOSC0_XI ?

Yes, this is possible. Read the entire section 5.9.4 in the AM65x Datasheet Rev. H for details.

Hi Biser,

Thank you for your answer. OK, you mean that the customer can use external crystal oscillator even though AM65x has internal oscillator.
