Part Number: TDA4VM
I found MCAN has hardware timestamp in 188.8.131.52.4 Timestamp Generation of TDA4 TRM.
And I tested the MCAN driver, it seems working.
I would to know when the hardware timestamp is appended.
1st byte Can Data of a CAN Frame or one complete CAN Frame received?
Is the Timestamp synced form GTC?
(12.10.1 Global Timebase Counter (GTC))
Quoting the TRM "On start of a frame reception/transmission the counter value is captured and stored into the timestamp section of an Rx Buffer/Rx FIFO (RXTS[15-0]) or Tx Event FIFO (TXTS[15-0]) element."
ks1st byte Can Data of a CAN Frame or one complete CAN Frame received?
So it'll be the start of the frame in your case.
ksIs the Timestamp synced form GTC?
This comes from the MCAN ICLK, let me check if this can be synced with GTC.
