AFE7906: AFE7906 - SYSREF

Part Number: AFE7906
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK04828

As per the requirement checklist given, SYSREF pin has to be maintained at a 0.6 V common mode voltage. The SYSREF pin has an internal 100E termination and the differential swing needed is 750 mV.

In the EVM schematics, there is an external 100E termination added to the SYSREF pins (attached the image). How is the common mode voltage maintained as 0.6 V at this circuit?

  • Hi Muthu,

The common mode voltage is being set by the LMK04828, which is generating SYSREF. The LMK sets the output voltage to about 1.2V and on our board we use a voltage divider to get the 0.6 V for common mode (100 Ohm in series and 100 Ohm to ground for the divider).
