AFE7920: Potential Issues developing on AFE7920 & Transitioning to AFE7952

Part Number: AFE7920
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE7952

Hello,

Are there any concerns or issues with developing on the AFE7920 & transitioning to an AFE7952 in the future?

Thank you!

  • Owen,

The AFE7952 is considered as a superset device to the AFE7920. The AFE7952 has more digital features to cover wider bandwidth, and can support higher RF frequency ranges. It is a pin-to-pin drop in. Therefore, if the customer starts to develop AFE7920, and wanted to transition to AFE7952 with more feature set support, this is completely OK.
