TRF371135: TRF371135 SPI Communication

Part Number: TRF371135

Tool/software:

Hello

I have a device where the TRF371135 is used, according to the documentation I have all 4 Registers of the Device should be written.

I measured a quite awkward behaviour of the SPI Interface.

Yellow = MOSI, Green = Clock, Orange = Strobe

For my understanding the Device has a 32bit shift Register and on the Rising Edge of the Strobe it writes the last 32 bit into the according Register.

From the rising Edge of the Strobe Signal back the first Block is 32 Clock Cycles, this is what I would expect

But if you go further back, there are 3 blocks with only 18 clock cycles, also there is no rising edge of the Strobe Signal.

Am I right if I assume that this Data will be discarded as it is shiftet out of the shift register or is there a mode where you can send more then 1 Register to the chip?

Best Regards

Phillip

  • Philip,

I am not following your ask here. You will need to provide the clock, the MOSI, and the strobe from the MCU. The TRF371135 device itself does not have the 3x 18 additional registers or provide additional outputs.
