I am trying to prototype a x-band radar using your eval board. Where can I get the schematic for the eval board? I need to see what modification I have to make on TRF1208 side to use x-band signal.

Hi Max,

Attached the design files. Which sub-band in x-band do you plan to evaluate this EVM at? This EVM may not be ideal at X-band as TRF1208 linearity degrades at >8GHz Freq.

I see, I better just use AFE7950EVM then. I am planning to use 10GHz. Can I see design files then? I see different eval board pictures on the internet and I am not sure which one's correct.

Kim,

TI currently provides 2 EVM's for AFE7950.

1. AFE7950EVM : AFE7950 eval board with passive balun at front end

2.TRF1208-AFE7950EVM: AFE7950 eval board with Active front end(TRF1208-Fully differential Amplifier)

Can you please help to elaborate your requirements and end application so that I can provide you best solution?
