Tool/software:
Hello Team,
Posting on behalf of my customer
We are looking into using the TI high-speed DAC/ADC board as a real-time FIR filter. According to the performance specs, TSW40RF80EVM fits our application. But here I have two concerns:
- I have a fast (GHz ish) signal comming in and I would like the FPGA and DAQ board to do the FIR filtering for that signal. I understand with FPGA we can do coding and perform the task with great freedom. I would like to know if you have existing code for FIR filter (or convolution) so that I can directly apply. I also notice there is a GUI for the board. Is there an even more straightforward way to do this? (Maybe the filter can directly be instantiated in that GUI)
- Potentially we will go to higher frequencies later if we are confirmed that the FIR filter function could work well. Could you please recommend a DAQ board that runs at faster speeds (maybe ~10GHz) or you have other versions of the DAQ board that overperforms this one (maybe the one I showed you is old version)
Regards,
Renan
