Tool/software:
Dear,
I try to work with LMX8410LEVM eval board. And I use USBtoANY tool. The problem is that I have try to readback any of registers I have received 0x0000. I checked the SPI data and clk is ok. And I see the data at readback procedure is ok, but the TICS sofware say 0x0000 anyway. When I wroye all the registers eval board led is on and I think it os work correctly. Can't check, but I can see the reaction. So, could you advice how I can readback the registers correctly? After programming all the registers to default configuration from TICS menu it start correctly the LED has switched on. Then I wrote R0[2] to 0. So, to enable reading on MUXout(MISO) channel. Anyway I see the correct data on the oscilloscope during readback operation (everything like in datasheet), but the TICS software said the data is still 0x0000 in any of register.
Hi Noel,
No, MUXout pin connected only to USBtoANY. And on the oscilloscope I see the correct waveform with corect bits according to the datasheet. I see the write to register operation and then the read from register operation and the bits data are similar and correct. The difference is only in write/read bit. But the TICS pro SW is still show the data 0x0000.
Hi Vitaliy,
That means the chip responses to the read/write command but TICS Pro cannot retrieve the values. Let me check with the team on this. Which TICS Pro version are you using?
Hi Vitaliy,
Found the problem, resistor R9 was not populated so the read back data cannot route to USB2ANY.
Short the pads together or populate a resistor should fix the problem. If necessary, remove R8.
