I have a question about TMP235.

Is the amplifier (red frame) described in " 7.2 Functional Block Diagram " a buffer amplifier?

I want to know what the amp is for.

Dear Shuji -

Buffer amplifiers are used in parts and circuits for impedance transformation, which protects the source (in this case the temperature sensor) from being disturbed by the load.
