I would like to use IWR6843ISK for radar detection and differentiating players in a sports game. But according to the specs, the angular resolution is 15 degrees.
Going by a rough estimate on a soccer field 120x80 meters, that means that two players need to be 22 meters apart to be detectable, if my detector is measuring across the breadth of the field. That is not exactly what I hoped for, but I am hoping that I am missing something.
Is there a way to up the resolution or is my calculation possibly completely off? Or is the hardware only meant for shorter ranges than that, if it is to distinguish multiple objects?
A quick answer would be incredibly helpful.
