Hello, 

In the datasheet the TUSS4440 is defined as a transformer driver only. But is there any way to drive the ultrasonic transceiver directly (without transformer) from TUSS4440 or should we use for this TUSS4470 only?

    Hello Joel,

    Thanks for posting to the sensing forum! If you are trying to drive transducers directly my recommendations would be to use TUSS4470, the two half bridges in this device can be used in direct drive in order to drive transducers directly using the internal FETs or can also be used to drive external FETs using the PRE_DRIVER_MODE in case more voltage is needed for transducers.

    TUSS4440 is only setup for transformer driven applications.
