DRV5056-Q1: Voltage noise

Part Number: DRV5056-Q1

Hi team,

My customer wants to minimize voltage noise.
Are there any other effective measures besides the bypass capacitor and RC filter in the block diagram?

Regards,

  • Akito-san,

Not considering temperature or mechanical sources of noise, These are really the only options for this device to reduce the noise response of the sensor.  Using a LPF on the output and more decoupling to stabilize VCC are the best ways to influence device related noise.

If temperature fluctuates quickly, and unevenly between the magnet and the sensor, then this may influence the quality of the temperature compensation, and if mechanical vibration is present this will also appear as noise on the output.

    Thanks,

    Scott
