TMAG5173-Q1: Device Marking and Identification

Hello Please help.

Please could you confirm the correct device marking for the TMAG5173A1.

We are currently developing a new product which uses a TMAG5173A1 and a TMAG5273B1 on the same board and while hand assembly I noticed that both devices have the same marking.  Having checked the datasheets for each device, it appears that the section which should show the marking details remains blank in the case of the TMAG5173 device.  

I would assume that the marking for the 5173 would be "51A1" and the marking for the 5273 would be "52B1".  

Please could you investigate and confirm.

    Hello DM,

    Thanks for posting to the sensors forum!

    The TMAG5173 units you currently have are pre-production material so it doesn't have the correct identifiers, it could also have an identifier of P731. Once we release the production material the device the labels will be “3A1Q” for the A1 variant and “73B1” for B1. The datasheet will be updated by that time to show this.
