we use AWR2243 in product design:

SA_RAP_19 The power supply or other external monitoring device shall monitor the Sensor Device for program flow and put the system into a safe state and force a reset of the Sensor Device if the program flow is disturbed. A Question and Answer (Q&A) watchdog is an example technique to achieve this program flow monitoring.

For chip AWR2243, how does customer do on this ?i know that TI provide software operated in the chip .

Hi,

Please refer to different watchdog implementations to know more about this. The text should be available online. So basically, one external watchdog has to be utilized to catch any abnormal device behavior.

Can you give me the link about the description? I mean that we use AWR2243, during application, customer only cofig the chip, how can we provide watchdog to it ? where we can get the interface in the chip ?

Hi,

The AWR2243 has is a front-end device. It requires an external host to communicate with it. The external host may implement the watchdog.

We cannot add weblinks in the forums. You will need to do a search on the web to find more information on watchdog and its implementation in general. This will you give you more idea on this requirement.
