LDC1101EVM: ldc1101 evm gui

Be sure that you are running in admin mode.  Can you try the patch mentioned in the thread below?

i have already downloaded this patch and when i attempt to run it again this is what pops up

Also i have ran everything in admin mode and there is no change.

I am looking into this as I have not been able to reproduce yet.

If possible, do you have another PC you could test with?

i will try on my personal computer tonight, i also noticed that the ldc1101evm comes up as a serial device instead of evm that i have seen on the forums.

I performed a fresh install on another PC and did run into the issue of the COM port not showing up in the GUI.  Once I installed the patch below, this issue was resolved.  Maybe uninstall and try a fresh install, then run the patch if you have not already.  This was a Win 11 Pro machine.

This also showed the device as "USB Serial Device" in device manager.  

i did a fresh install and i can get to the point to where i can select the correct com port, but it still says it is in installation mode, and i cant change the screen to rp+L measurement or any other page

Hmm, another idea is that the firmware is corrupted.  You can use the steps below to reflash.  Let me know if this helps.

i think we are closer to it working. it now shows up in device manager as evm. what labview runtime is supposed to work with the ldc1101 gui? i had 2010 sap 1 installed, but i don't think that it is working correctly.

NI-VISA Runtime 14.0.1.

i tried on my home computer and still the same results i think that the gui isnt running properly. I can get this screen to pop up with the error that it is not an executable

my .net wasn't active once doing that the gui runs correctly thank you for the help!
