TMP117: High Temp Operation beyond spec.

Can TMP117 measure above and beyond 150 C? Let's just say it is running at 165 C to 175 C.  

Do you have any test data on this extended temp beyond the spec?

Do we have an EP (Enhanced Packaging) for this device?

    Hello Tu,

    The absolute maximum temperature rating for both operation and storage for TMP117 is 155°C, and the TMP117 should not be used beyond its abs max limit.

    We dont have data to support using the TMP117 beyond its absolute maximum rating. If you need a digital local temp sensor that is rated to 175°C, I would suggest TMP126. It's a SPI device and is slighly less accurate than TMP117, but will perform safely at your desired temperatures.
